Two members of the Maryland Solar Decathlon Team attended the Arlington Green Home Fair in Arlington, Va., to promote the Solar Decathlon competition and highlight the team's progress. Over 350 people attended the fair to listen to speakers and view exhibits about sustainability for homes and gardens.
Visitors to the Maryland Team display were especially interested in the home's design, its final location after the competition, and the overall cost of the house.
The Green Home Fair was organized by Arlingtonians for a Clean Environment (ACE). ACE is volunteer organization that works to promote a clean and sustainable Arlington County through environmental education and action.
